First build. Metered 153.3db today. But something is wrong.

I still think your enclosure is too small for 4 18's, and vehicle plays a roll also. There is nothing wrong with a 153 but that 146 at 35hz is not good at all for 4 18's. if everything else checks out is gonna be the enclosure. Any pics?

I have to side with Swift. Something doesn't add up

I do a 145.5 at 35hz with a pair of 12s on a crescendo 3500. You should be doing way more than 1db louder than me at that frequency given that you have more power, a wall, and 4x the cone area.

it may only be 1db louder but i can gaurentee it wounds 10x differnt!!

thats like comparing a crx can do a 156 with 3 10s to a vehicle with 4 18s that only does a 150 i bet you that 150 will sound WAY louder..

I agree 10000% man. I'm just trying to figure out what the problem is.

Pop test your subs, if that checks out, measure your enclosure and put the numbers you measured into Torres. Sometimes you might have a bad cut or something that makes the box completely different than what you planned and the only way to figure this out is to measure
