ncc74656 Posted October 29, 2012 Report Posted October 29, 2012 My factory batteries seem to be failing (die in 10 min if i leave my lights on) so im looking for replacements. i was looking at optimas, basic oem replacement AMG types, and these kenitic things i had never heard of. currently i have the factory batteries, 2 750CA in parallel. I am running a ZX 1500.1, FI BL, MTX sterio amp, a 5KW power inverter, a 12,000Lbs winch, off road lights, and a 55W digital head light kit. with all this taken into consideration and knowing that what ever batteries i place in here will be used for starting as well as powering everything. what batteries should i go with? I have no plugs so there is only a fuel pump to keep the engine running while things are on. i also live in MN so it needs to work well in very cold weather. anyone have any recommendations? nothing, gutted

Answers to those 2 questions will lead you in the right direction. You MAY need a bigger budget. ncc74656 Posted October 30, 2012 Author Report Posted October 30, 2012 i run my inverter for saws, lights, drills, compressors, ect. id say 1/4 is about 20% usage, 1/2 is about 50-70% usage and 1/4 70-100% usage. my alt is factory with a HO rebuild kit, it puts out around 180A nothing, gutted
