iCool247 Posted October 30, 2012 Report Posted October 30, 2012 As of right now I have two SA 8 V2's in a small prefab ported box. A well made box will make the subs sound better correct? What would be an all around perfect box size for these two subs? Another question, how well is the Rockford Fosgate R1200.1D amp? If anyone has knowledge on this amp, I would like to know. zack_e89 Posted October 30, 2012 Report Posted October 30, 2012 Yes, a proper box will definitely be better than a prefab. Sundown recommends .5-.75 cubes for each of those subs in a ported application. I've had experience with a few rockford amps and they are definitely good, clean power. 97 Suburban 8 custom PSI Platform 3 18's
