After getting my car and driving it for like a month, some hilljack in his "awesome" truck decided to do a burn out after school. Our parking lot is chip 'n' tar. Needless to say my hood and windshield was pitted. I was so tempted to grab my slingshot and some good 1/2" ball bearings and do work to his windows. I wish someone would invent a security camera for inside the car aiming out so that I would be able to see who the hell did anything to my car. Yea, but amazingly I still haven't found a place nearby......everywhere I go its either sorry we can't match the paint and don't have a classic specialist Or the classic restoration places I go to are being weird and saying like oh we only do 4 or 5 paint jobs a year and its a restoration budget, well no shit its a classic and it's my insurance not me, its gonna be a $500 deductible no matter what so the rest of the cost isnt my concern, but they are still "technically" saying they don't want to...they must hate money. I'm heading out to the valley tomorrow to check out a few places I've heard of and called to...hopefully I can find a reliable shop there.
