afrakes Posted November 1, 2012 Report Posted November 1, 2012 Ok so I got hit the other day, no biggie, but while my car is getting repaired I'm driving a rental. Its a 2012 Nissan Altima. There are speakers everywhere, obviously everything is stock. But how in the living hell do youeven begin to take apart a car like this if you own one? The stock deck is part of one big center dash piece that includes all the controls for heating, ac, etc. The dash is all one piece where the front speakers are located. I'm obviously not doing anything to a rental car, but this whole thing just added much respect from me to the people who own these newer cars... Like snowdrifter said, lots of clips... clips that like to break if you're not careful. The way the deck is integrated with everything it makes putting your own in a pita. Processors like the 3 sixty.3 help out a lot so you can keep it stock. Not everybody takes apart their cars like us so they don't really assemble them with us in mind. And the fact more than one person agrees does not make it a circle jerk, it makes it a bukkake scene and you're in the middle Chick took 3 shots of Jager, and then, pissed in my mouth.. Since I just recently upgraded everything in my car my dad wants me to do his also... So far i have only found about 8 out of the 11 speakers. Like everyone has been saying... lots and lots and lots of little clips that break if you pull just a touch to hard.

I'm sure that would have a factory amp with preset crossovers. So if you only replace the speakers it might not sound right.
