WICK3DxGATA
so what muffler then? if not flowmasters id like some recommendation. and loud isnt the main goal. deep and hp is borla xr-1s are nice, some magnaflows, im running spintechs which are real nice. theres so many out there and it all just somes down to what you really want. no one is going to really tell you what kind of mufflers to get because no one else has the exact same taste in the sound as you. 99 Gmc sierra extended cab front speakers: DB drive 6.5 back speakers: DB drive 6.5 amp: none right not subs: none right now Future waiting to get my 2 skar vvw 8s installed
Reg_Cab_Slammer
Ok you said mufflers with straight through design is best for horsepower, but I don't want one that's loud as hell lol 2001 Dodge Ram Kenwood Deck Pioneer speakers

boom50cal
The Borla XR-1's aren't super loud, iirc. Are you going to ditch your catalytic converters? Being an 02 or whatever, they are probably clogged to all hell and heat up really bad. You'll need a reprogram of your ECU/PCM to fool the O2 sensor, also. A simple exhaust reconstruction can get pricey quick, lol. On 1/4/2013 at 9:31 PM, HatersGonnaHate said: Wow. 184 posts and I think you're a fucking asshole. Reg_Cab_Slammer
Yes I plan on doing headers, true duals and no cats. Or headers into one muffler then split by a y pipe 2001 Dodge Ram Kenwood Deck Pioneer speakers

KiKaZz74
Not big on exhaust at all but I here ppl say a dual exhaust to a true x pipe to dual gets u that deep growl. Might think about that too. 3"+ pipe I'd say.
