Forevrbumpn Posted January 22, 2008 Report Posted January 22, 2008 IMO, I would just roll with it subs back, port on driverside if your getting it metered, or port on passenger side for daily. For the human ear, you pretty much would like the port to be at the furthest point from your listening POV, due to the pressure waves, and loading off that back hatch is a good thing. Yes CRX boxes -Subs up, port back are great, and would work best, but you have the box, use it the way its supposed to be used. You can try the box facing straight up, but Iam willing to bet that will cancel out the low end bass some, in compared to subs/ports back Iam willing to bet you will love the box/subs as intended I have a ritual called "terminator". I crouch in the shower in the "naked terminator" pose. With eyes closed I crouch for a minute and visualize either Arnie or the guy from the 2nd movie. I then start to hum the T2 theme. Slowly I rise to a standing position and open my eyes. It helps me get through my day. The only problem is if the shower curtain sticks to my terminator leg. It sorta ruins the fantasy.
