Miguels Posted November 10, 2012 Report Posted November 10, 2012 SSD isnt meant to take 2k. Look out for these: SSA Xcon DC XL Sundown Zv3 AA Mayhem IA DP etc. he might have had a 2k amp it dont mean he fed it 2k watts. he could have been clipping and most likely was recone and wire it to 2 ohms and set gains properly and you will be fine with the 2k amp you have. you can always upgrade later to another ssd and wire it at 1ohm my logshttp://www.stevemead...-my-new-set-up/my blow through loghttp://www.stevemead...future-updates/ 96 ss http://www.stevemeadedesigns.com/board/topic/164094-96-impala-ss-build/
tefik95bass Posted November 10, 2012 Author Report Posted November 10, 2012 I definitly agree there i don't think I would ever buy one of their 9500's brand new. I had one about a year ago and bought it 250 used. @ChevyBoy95 is there an online dealer anywhere for the DC XLs? or do you have to custom order those 2007 Trailblazer LS 4.2Pioneer DEH7400hd1 XS Power S3400(front)1 XS Power D3400(rear)150A stock alt 15" DC Audio XL m21 Crescendo BC2000d
Miguels Posted November 10, 2012 Report Posted November 10, 2012 op you should get with Fi about reconing the sub. sometimes you only have to pay for the recone kit and they put it on if not i'll be happy to take the sub from you are reconing it for my use my logshttp://www.stevemead...-my-new-set-up/my blow through loghttp://www.stevemead...future-updates/ 96 ss http://www.stevemeadedesigns.com/board/topic/164094-96-impala-ss-build/
