CJ18
Not afraid to do the math, but having the software sure would make things much easier. Is it available to download anywhere yet?

CJ18
Ok awesome. The math is pretty easy once you get the hang of it, but it would save so much time to just plug in a few numbers and the formulas do the rest for you. I think I may write them into excel myself for the time being. Would be cool if y'all could come up with an iPhone app for the imsg where people could just type them in that way and have the specs right there on your phone. Maybe be able to submit them and have everything that everyone uploads into a searchable database. I know every driver will have slightly different specs, but would be a great reference tool for people to use.
meade916
i can't exactly say i am a mathematician myself... so i personally would like the program as soon as possible too. I got a great man for the job lined up. I don't wanna release the excel spreadsheet program we already have because its not refined enough and of course requires MS Office (for excel). hang tight, this is still a NEW product! 1 Quote All SMD products + MORE available at my store here! https://wccaraudio.com/ Subscribe to My Youtube Channel! Obviously it is early in the works so tough to say more details, but is the thought that this will be like a "free app" type program....or actual software you would need to pick up? CJ18
My impatience just got the best of me and my inner nerd came out. I learned how to write programs for graphing calculators back in middle school, so I thought this would be the perfect chance to see what I remember. I have a ti-84 that I am using, to do all of the math anyway, so I sat here and was able to write a program that works perfect. Just have to take a few measurements with the imsg and it spits out all of the specs for me.

Still use my beast TI-85 daily at work! I wish I was better with "technology!" I need that program on my calculator! Lol. Quote Firm believer in letting my cars do my talking! CJ18
It really is a simple program to write, the imsg manual gives you all of the formulas.
