kandiman71874
if you haven't done a compression yet, how do you know its an exhaust valve that's the problem? And that would be found out by doing a cylinder leak down test which since you haven't done the compression test yet, not sure how you came to that conclusion. The leak down is done almost like the compression test.. USAFsound
If you are getting any kind of significant voltage drop it could negatively affect anything electrical. My first check in this situation would be the fuel pump then filter the. Fuel lines etc. sounds like the same problem I had with my wife's 06 explorer ended up being a pinched fuel line. cuetip
no i havent came to any conclusions yet thats just what im thinking, think its cylinder 1, thats having the problems.. and i think its the exhaust valve because of what im reading and kandi i dont no if its the exhaust valves yet, and duck i think so but not sure thats why monday im going to take the car to my mechanic and talk to him about it and tell him what its doing, and get a estimate on how much it will cost to fix, thats if i dont need an entire valve job, or i can just replace the couple valves that are screwed up, but if its going to be alot of money then i may just save that money and just drop another motor in and be done with it lol

Jessica
Wait, is this only at idle? If that is the case has anyone suggest cleaning the Idle air control valve. You will ave to take it off and use throttle body cleaner and a rag, and maybe some compressed air. Just a thought. Rest in peace, walled 87 accord build log 03' Corolla build with AA Mayhem inside.
