cjvue
Nice job as always... So you don't clamp those 45's? CA will hold it together until wood glue reinforced them? Pioneer~Saturn
Thanks and you've got it..would need a chisel and a hammer to get them out of there. And the Titebond instant bond has almost identical strength as wood glue. the_garynator
looks wonderful! Only things I'd do differently would be to add .75" to the right side panel (if you're looking at the subs port to the left) and remove .75" from the inner baffle. This would double your surface contact patches for glueing (not that it would really make a difference though). I would have also done a recessed mount by cutting the subwoofer holes in the outer baffle larger. That's an awesome carpeting job, I wish I had those carpeting skills. Also, I like your gluing idea, I may have to give that a try soon! cjvue
Thanks and you've got it..would need a chisel and a hammer to get them out of there. And the Titebond instant bond has almost identical strength as wood glue. Why would you chisel them out if they're identical to wood glue strength and serves the same purpose? I'm just curious as I had never venture Titebond in enclosure building. Pioneer~Saturn
Thanks guys and yes, I agree staggering the baffle layers would've made more surface area for the glue. I dont foresee it being a problem though Team Tupperware <First dual-alternator 'real' Saturn (pre-2002) on the planet>(3) 15" Fi SP4's fed by (2) M3a's strapped @ .66712.75 cubes net @ 25Hz with 200 sq inches of port area (lowz...?)Stock alt position (custom bracket) 225 amp Mechman Roof = steel and fiberglass (u mad?)(2) XS Power D3100's, (2) rhino batts, No battery upfront (for now, smh)4 power+ 4 ground runs of 1/0-gauge to rear"If its been done before...you're doing it wrong" : ) "stfu about scores and float $hit..."
