Please don't take that as an outstanding negative. Everything on this page today is exceptional work

I'm very excited to see this thing come together

You better post a picture of your smile once you hear it haha

Oh man, no worries at all. It sucks in the fact that I can't fix it, cause now that I know, it may bother me, but I can't do anything about it. Well I can do something about it, but it'd be a crap ton of work to worry about for a 1/8-1/4" out of turn. So I'm not going to sweat that. I have too much other work to worry about.

fuck yeahhh looking good scott!!

wire runs are really looking good so far!

Thanks Maiko. Hopefully you can hear it while you're here. I can't imagine that the subs won't at least be playing, but we'll see how the next couple of days works out.

Today should present some good work and finishing. I'm hoping, HOPING, to get the subs pulled, cables shrinked, connectors on, and ready to go back in. Zip tie mounts in, enclosure floor secured down, subs remounted, connected, and the back walls put on to seal her up. If I have time, I'll probably sand the other door, and get some spot rage on both. That's a full day though. So we'll see.

More tonight!!

BTW, I've gotten my wifi problem fixed in my shop. SO now I get wifi in my shop. So I have my laptop with me, just not sure if there's a way to post pics as I go. Kind of an in service live type thing. Too late in the game now I think.

Man its looking really good and it not even finished yet.

I'm willing to bet that you could get at least playing by thursday.

You got alot done over the weekend and you didn't get the time you hoped for.

It's like rubbing your wiener up against a sheep.

Passenger side amp out and ready to get some cabling. This is how easy the removable floor makes accessing the amps. This was very easy to remove.

All cables in.

Your + and - are reversed @ the amp. You probably saw it already, but it caught my eye!

Thanks alaskanzx5 I might just do that
I can recone a sub myself. About a year ago I took 2 12" power acoustic mofos and made one sub. I took the magnet and the motor off of one and j b welded it to the other motor and magnet. I had to wind my own voice coil so it would work. After I was done hooked up to 2 boss 5000w amps. And shattered my back and all my side windows

came to this thread to recommend soundqubed and ct sounds. OP goes with soundstream.

oh lawd.

I wouldn't sweat the sub being slightly clocked sub, I would possibly just get some new dc stickers for the dust caps and make them strait insted of rebuilding the bagel buy like i said i wouldn't sweat it! :)

Looks awesome man, all the projects coming together great keep it up!

Funny how the people who have a louder system than you will usually give you a compliment about your setup because they know how much blood, sweat, time, and money you put into it. The people who criticize or try and one up you....have a p.o.s to no system at all and will tell you all about this "other" guys system! Saddley I'm sure if I meet this "other" guy...he will probably tell me he thinks your just as annoying as I think you are!

I'm not compensating, just proud of fabricating!

Oh yeah that would be an idea too. But i'm not going to worry about it now.

Thanks, I'm counting minutes till I get off, so I can go get more done. If I had vacation time, I'D BE USING IT!! Oh well.

So I think I've decided on the doors. I'm going to get them sanded, and ready to go, and get them primed and just leave them at that until after AR. Then I'll see what money looks like. I would like to either do suede or vinyl and I'm sure that both are going to need stitching so I'll probably take them in to have that done. I have a shop around the corner from me. I'll see what they would charge to do them both.

Ok back to work for me. Less than an hour and a half and I'm off! Let the work resume!

Ok. I figured there was some other answer than that, but I'm going to be doing that anyway.

What confuses me, is when people talk about "Oh I do this at xxhz on music". How is that possible to know what hz you're playing on music when its variable since music doesn't play one tone?

I know KISS, my bad! I'll go back to my hole.

BTW, thanks for not banning me this weekend funny guy!! LOL :drink40:
