C-Fizzy
If you need a 2 cube box net. Then build a 2.1-2.2 cube box(depending on the woofer displacement). External aero ports don't take up any space inside of the box, obviously. under construction I hate People with crappy primered cars rolling on hubcaps that are louder then me. u hate c-fizzy? ToNasty
see i thought that since it was attached to the box that the port was also part of the box volumne ***Super Sellers List***http://www.stevemeadedesigns.com/board/topic/25829-super-sellers-buyers

ToNasty
so what diameter port would be sufficient for me. its actually about 1.9 cubes after dsplacment and its an sa12 ***Super Sellers List***http://www.stevemeadedesigns.com/board/topic/25829-super-sellers-buyers
fecupe2001
Depends on your goal, my 85 series love bigger ports, while the 80 series loves smaller ports for music and bigger ports for spl, the SA its definitely a great sub, but im pretty sure that a single 6" aeroport would give you a "peaky" box, with 1.9 cubic feet and a full lenght aeroport you could end up tuned around 38 hz and a higher peak, bandwith would be kind of small, if you love to play loud only from like 37 to 47 hz then a single 6" aero would work AWESOME with a great output, if you are looking for a flat respond and more SQ then a single 4" aeroport would work just fine, if i were you, i would start with a 4" aeroport , test, re-tune, etc etc, and if you are satisfied then get a 6" aero, i LOVE how the box on the video sounds, yes is a smaller bandwith but i didn´t want to play any salsa or trance music lol I´m the SPL Gains topic creator!! wanna get louder?? check this: SPL Gains. fecupe2001
yeah, single 4" aeroport would sound very nice on music, you can use pvc and flare it, but for the price of a PSP i guess i would get that one, definitely need some sexy nice flares to eliminate any port noise... C-Fizzy
Gonna give you some advice. I don't understand people who have 1 12 and wnt to tune to 25hz because they like "lows". You're not going to get massive lows with a single 12 on 1k lol. So I advise you to do what fecupe said and do a full length 6" port. So you can at least have a loud 12 in the high 30- mid 40hz range. People will be surprised. under construction I hate People with crappy primered cars rolling on hubcaps that are louder then me. u hate c-fizzy?
