If the HID turns on then you know you have a bad ballast. And if the bulb doesn't turn on you know you have a bad bulb. SnowDrifter Posted December 3, 2012 Report Posted December 3, 2012 If the fuse looks good, stick the stock bulb back in there and see if they work. Do you frequently "flash" your brights? I wouldn't count on the DDM ballasts having hot re-strike protection. So that could have killed your ballast, bulb, or both. Think of it like wiring a cheap amp at .5 ohm and clipping it - it will stop working. DDM isn't really known for their outstanding quality when it comes to HID kits.
