2.5 cubes to be tuned so low might just be the problem. I'm at 3.33 at 29hz on my RF 15 and it still doesn't get the lowz like I want it. I'm going to two JBL 10s soon and looking to do it in the same 3.5 cubes tuned to 27.

I'm looking to play low 20s audibly and loudly. but what's weird is that I can paper trick nicely in the teens.

Didn't read past this point so it may have already been confirmed but I would bet this is the problem. You have way too small of an air space to be tuned so low.

Air space in the box I mean, if you want to get that low I would try something more like 3.5-4 cubes tuned 29-30. Should play nicely from the mid twenties to the high 40s and then roll off after that.

Yeah new one is designed already, 3.5Cu ft, 28Hz tuning, and 12.5sq in of port per ft

I'll admit, half way through sanding that fiberglass in the rain and cold while I was all itchy I was definitely starting to question why i was doing this haha

in your current box, do you feel the air move but it's just not that loud when you get in the 20s?

2007 Pacifica
Rebuild. Less quiet. Still not loud.

I can't even hit the 20's really, lowest I can go is 28 which is barely audible, I dont really get much of an output, I dont feel any air.

New box looks much better! With that low of a tuning and port and box size you will lose alot of top end output but if the low lows are all you care about then this should do quite nicely :good:

i am really curious to see how much the high end goes bye bye
