I have welding expoerience and my grandfather that would be helping me is a master machinest or is it better to hire a shop?
certifiednut
with a truck as common as a s-10 you should be able to find a good bolt on set up for cheap. you should have no problems these orphans aren't going to feast on themselves

OrangeJuiced
There has been tons of s10's with bags and tons of people to help you out. Honestly if your gpa is a machinist and understands how the suspension is going to work, you may be able to handle it. There are also tons of bolt on kits for sale for that truck, but I don't think there is any pride in a bolt on kit. It's up to you. Definitely do some research and maybe try to find someone in the area that has installed bags on their own rig. They will most likely love to help out. 2001 GMC Sierra Build. ToNasty
there are plenty of bolt on kits for s10s. i went through thorebeck brother when i had mine. the only thing was i had to notch the rear frame. even that was easy if you have jack stands and levels ***Super Sellers List***http://www.stevemeadedesigns.com/board/topic/25829-super-sellers-buyers
