Tyler L Harstine Posted December 4, 2012 Report Posted December 4, 2012 Well everyone I recently had a 68 deville with 2 earthquake DBXI 15s running of a massive audio n4(monoblock 4kw) but unfortunately i totaled it and just recently sold the system. I gotta say I miss it, it pounded and I had plenty of room in the caddy trunk for future upgrades/box build. So I plan to get me another caddy DTS like i had before the 68, not sure if a 01-05 or one of the slightly newer ones yet. but my plan sub wise is to get the re audio xxx, not sure on if 15s or 18s yet. either way the amp i want to run will be the Massive audio D 8000. which speaker size will depend on how much room i have for a box. HU will def be some sort of pioneer and the mids/highs will be some of massive audio components. Lol well thats why i opened this forum..to see what the people had to say before I went buying subs. I mean I havent even bought the car yet so I still have plenty of time. and besides I like to deal with the other interior speakers and HU before I go diving into the trunk. While they were low end monsters they tapered out quickly after like 60 hz. Sounded good? Sure. But when you have 2 15 or 18 woofers that you are slamming with 2000 watts each are you really after SQ? i checked two sites and both have it at 600 bucks a woofer. Thats sp4 territory. thats DD 9500 territory thats DC territory sundown nightshade territory. All those woofers are going to straight up face rape a xxx in output.
