Go into the right thread need to talk about his amp rack now lol. This box needed to be braced he's running 1 1700 to each VVX box needs to stay as still as possible. It's built solid and well might I add. I would've double baffled the box had I known Skars would be used. The threaded rod will keep the box from destroying itself on the power that he intends to put to those VVXs. The box should be a solid performer and put up some numbers if he can keep his voltage up. Im not the one you want to try to troll. Just a fyi for you. john253a Posted January 2, 2013 Report Share Posted January 2, 2013 dont stress about the size to much, its not perfect but will still work, i would have tuned it a bit higher35-37hz as you would have got a bit more net and port area, you just buy some polly mat and line the outside of the box(its not much but will assist) or another little trick i like to do is get some gutter guard the plastic woven mesh, and make a cage accross the back or 1 side of the box and fill that area up with pollyfill, then staple the guard in place, or if you have the depth fill a pillow case up and securer that to back wall Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...
