AI James Posted March 31, 2008 Report Share Posted March 31, 2008 system restore doesnt delete anything and just google up "how do i system restore windows xp" youll get the answer. the codec will work chances are you have a virus thats preventing it from installing correctly. also you may have a virus starting with your computer thats preventing it as well. needlesnpins Posted April 1, 2008 Report Share Posted April 1, 2008 i didnt read through all the replies but mine has done this before after restoring my computer. its specific drivers on the computer that are not installed. i have an hp so i went to there website under driver section looked it up installed it and it worked. same with videos. Cause I can't play videos either but my problem is different when I click on the video to view it---For instance one of the videos in video section I get a webpage displaying a blank webpage video will only play if I right click it and save target as.
