the usb to rca is great BUT certain tablets dont support usb audio for example the nexus 7, for these tablets u gotta do sum unlocking and adding sum "kernels" to enable usb audio but it can be done and will output full digital audio

I think most of the windows tablets allow USB audio out. At least the Samsung and HP tablets I looked at do.

I wonder if since you are running win 8 on a tablet, and plug tat tablet into the headunit via USB, if the tablet sees the headunit in the attached devices or not. If it does, there may be a way to use Windows media encoder to stream data to it.

Hope the cable works out.

Not sure, guess it depends on if the head unit will be tricked by it or not.

But it would be cool to play music from a tablet, adjust the 360.3 EQ from the tablet, and see what SPL we are doing from the TermLab connected.

What you are doing is similar to what i want to do. I want to plug my Usb on my h/u into my pc's usb, then use the h/u ipod controls to play the music on the p.c.

Problem is i think i need to write some code so that the p.c. emulates an mp3 player and fetches the commands from the h/u and then responds accordingly. And i think i need to make a custom cable.

It might just be more work than its worth for me lol.
