Michael Mccullough Posted December 11, 2012 Report Posted December 11, 2012 notice some people not putting in rear speaker for a fill just subs in the trunk i got 6.5 comp mm for the front and have a extra set of there dxi comp would i be better of just putting it as a fill or would it sound better to throw them up front with the mm? got them on a 4 channel Boston gt amp pushing 100 rms a channel. got 2 12 type r subs in a 33hz tuned port box they hit real clean already got most of my matted up only thing that distorts my bass is my rear deck on deep base notes it tends to fly up and slap my rear window

Some people use rears in competition to "enhance" width in a stage and image setup ... While others think that rears pull their stage and image back from the hood / dash area, so they remove the rears and focus primarily on "Front Stage" ...
