quakecitystudio Posted December 12, 2012 Report Posted December 12, 2012 Imagine wiring all of those up... And then having phase issues It's actually not that hard, I mean, you'd want to know what you want your end result to be, the ohms of each speaker as well as the desired ohm load you'd want each amp to see. If you'd wire all 16 up to a single load that an amp would see, then you'd have your greatest challenge. But, if you're using multiple amps and driving a grib of subs per amp then it's nothing. But always check with a small 9v battery to check phasing issues. I personally wired up 12 2 ohm 4" speakers to what I believe is close to a 4 ohm load which is where my amp would use its max power. reelfish92 Posted December 13, 2012 Author Report Posted December 13, 2012 I like the 9v battery trick works every time. Team Flatline AudioBuild Log: http://www.stevemead...-s10-build-log/YouTube ---> http://www.youtube.com/reelfish92
Torres Posted December 13, 2012 Report Posted December 13, 2012 you'd run into more problems than just switching the positive and negative around. it's not as easy to get loud if you have lots of volume and lots of speakers as some may think
