I think that console will come out nicely too. Following now. That Nexus in the dash came out very well, good job on the first time bondo. PS. Leo1103 Posted April 21, 2013 Author Report Posted April 21, 2013 okay completely remade the center console today and I figured out a way to keep the stock handbrake. Onto the pics got it the exact distance I wanted it, once I wrap the final console it should be flush against the plastic the space for the handbrake to go down all the way same exact height as the stock armrests, not sure if I'm going to keep them yet and this is where I almost shit my pants, I realized that after making the little pocket for the handbrake that the radio might not fit. Luckily I had an old cage lying around and it was literally a perfect fit with the foamboard. I'll bite the bullet soon on a router to make it fit in the wood though. Started with some 1/4 mdf And boom Some temp bracing ro hold it togwther More bracing, prob going to do a full frame inside it to make it stronger/ easier to mount. And here's some other stuff I've been working on Bought a 9887 as a little gift to me ANd the Imprint system by alpine Just plug and play and it sets up the eq and time alignment.
