Leo1103 Posted June 1, 2013 Author Report Posted June 1, 2013 okay got a lil bit of work done today, added 2 layers of chop mat to the front of it where the radio will be mounted. Most likely gna add around 4-5 more layers cuz Ilike overkill. no pics of the glassing though. Moving on went to home depot to get some dremel shit then started trimming everything up only problem is that the fleece I used added a 1/4 of an inch to the top on one side Gna do 2-3 layers of chop on the inside seam to strengthen it up and then sand the outside smooth. 2002 Honda CR-VAlpine 9887My BuildRebuilding... Leo1103 Posted June 1, 2013 Author Report Posted June 1, 2013 did some more layers of chop mat today, used the rest of the sunflash so I threw some body filler on sides all trimmed up and smooth from the early filler stages, had a lot of low spots getting smoother traced out the cage and here's where it all started pissing me off, when I fleeced the top apparently the two sides compressed by 1/4 of an inch so I had to chisel out from the sides until the radio + cage fit in doesn't look half bad popped the trim ring on the radio and it looks 100 times better how thick the fg where the head unit is mounted is thats it for today, gna try and figure out some ways to secure the radio tomorrow. 2002 Honda CR-VAlpine 9887My BuildRebuilding...
