ran 4 6x9s two subs and 2 tweeters all parallel on a two channel amp gain all the way up full range wired with 10gauge wire :-D the fact that the amp it still working is nothing short of a miracle

also i built a box for a friend's trunk without measuring anything, i just looked a picture online and guesstimated. box came out 1" to big and he had to buy more wood and carpet.

i just about cried laughing when my girlfriend pointed it out to me (who's never touched a wire in her life) that the wires were messed up after going through the manual haha (i was installing it in her car and she wanted to help)

Not really noobish just frustrating

My pac lc1 burned up and I thought it was my hu or something under the dash that burnt. Spent 3 hours at a comp trying to diagnose everything and then I saw the burned rca leads coming off the pac

Oh: And I thought that distortion and rattles meant loud

I thought distorion meant it was so loud my ears couldn't process the sound and that's why it sounded like shit

there's a point in mids and highs when the mids aren't distorting but it's so loud that your ears actually do distort, for example, I heard that trippi's hummer was very difficult to fine tune since it's so loud that up close it might sound bad but in reality its actually 100% clear.
