Avery Howell
It all started 9/28/12 I purchased my first Wrangler. A 1995 4.0 with the AX-15 5 Speed. I did a few minor things to it after I bought it but I was mainly preparing for the audio build (as stated in my signature). The one thing I did do was spend $2500 on a custom built hardtop that arrived on 12/7/12, my dad and I drove 50 miles south in the rain to put it on, in the rain... My new Kenwood head unit arrived 12/12 and so did my RF T1 4x6s both installed the same day. My center console arrived the next day and was installed right away. I ordered custom plates as well Carrying the soft top back I spent tons of time restoring the plastic trim/fender flares. Avery Howell
Thursday 12/13/12 Friday December 14th, it started off as a normal day, I got up and left for work, jammin out. Until..... A small Honda was about 100 feet in front of me turning right on to a side street, a woman turned left off of the side street without making a complete stop and I clipped the side of her car which spun me around slamming my drivers side rear quarter panel into the side of her car which sent me down into a ditch which my Jeep jumped out of into a field where it barrel rolled several times before laying to rest on its side. 5 Police cars, 3 fire trucks, 2 ambulances, and a cute paramedic who was standing really close to me and held my neck as the c collard was put on (I had already started my letter to pent house...) I was then put on a back board and carried to a stretcher and then rushed to the hospital due severe to neck and back pain. My ambulance came with in a few feet of being in a head on collusion... Keep in mind that was AFTER I was cleaned up. Before It looked like I had just taken a mud bath. After several hours and about 10 X Rays I was cleared to leave and told I would miss at least a week of work.(I work in surplus and recycling and there is a lot of heavy lifting) On my way home from all this I decided to turn XM to CNN. Not the best decision considering how my day was going. Avery Howell
Here's some photos from after it was towed.... The rollbar that was above my head STEVE MEADE DESIGNS Notice how the dash separated from the rest of the Jeep. All the glass on the Jeep either shattered or was damaged....except my sunroof... We are assuming it will be totalled. After all the insurance money and the settlement I plan on getting a 2007 2 door Wrangler. 2012 Jeep Wrangler 3.6 W/ 6 Speed Build Log 2011 Ford F-150 SVT Raptor 6.2 Build Log YouTube

wellington
Couldn't resist also, that jeep hardly has a scratch on it (assuming there is nothing hiding under the mud) looks like the top is cracked and part of the fender is dented a little and the tail light broke. but otherwise, seems to be pretty solid! 2010 HHR LT - DNX 6160 - sony xec-700 - sony xm-4040 for door mids - XM-6020 for tweets in a-pillar - saz1500d v1 - VVME RD-12 1.75 f^3 32hz guru and president of the "cheap asses trying to beat up the block with bargain bin woofers" club

STEvil
replace them, good as new. MickyMcD - "Capable of making some serious trouser flapping volumes at where's-my-testicles frequencies, the Servo-Drives used to be fairly jaw dropping..." Any time you have have a power wire next to your frame put some rubber hosing (or cut up an innertube) around it. The wire is bound to wiggle (due to driving or flex) and the casing will eventually wear through. Hammerdown... 1% no links to outside websites, business related FB/YT pages allowed. baaudio
look at it this way, you were in probably the safest vehicle to endure such an accident. many cars you would have prolly been much more seriously injured. i hope for the best in your recovery!
