hiding tv wires when mounting on wall?

We've had our panasonic 50" plasma. on the tv stand ..but now i would like to put it on the wall. i know how to do the bracket but where can i buy a cheap wall faceplate for the hole in the wall behind the tv and the hole in the bottom.. how hard is adding the plug up there too? the "kits "are like 50+dollars i think the parts are alot cheaper some where online

Honestly, if you haven't got much experience here, you can really muck some things up. If it's on an exterior wall, I wouldn't even attempt it (see: firebreak).

If you wish to attempt this, you can cut a hole in the wall with a template, and insert a contractor's box in there, drop the coax down to the opening at the bottom of wall...

I believe wall fish are like $50-75 from a licensed electrician.

I did these plenty of times at DirecTV, but I also fixed several attempts by homeowners, that would have otherwise cost them lots of money in repairs.

is that an exterior wall? That beam should be ab 18" off the floor, called a firebreak ;-)

get an electrician to move an outlet to right up behind where the tv is gonna go then mount a wire wall plate right next to it and then put another plate down low where your components are going

*edit* didnt see you said you already got the tv up!
