SnowDrifter
Family member driving the car in the rain, went into a corner too fast, hit the brakes, locked the tires up and slid into oncoming traffic. Front end is pretty much all cosmetic. Going to need a turn signal, bumper, grille, fender flares, Radiator was bent slightly but I bent it back and it's holding pressure so I'm not too concerned there. The front tire hit. Impact bent the wheel, ripped the mounting tabs off the axle, pushed the driveshaft back into the transfer case, cracking it. Among other things are bent control arms, sway bar mounting tabs, ripped the drag link (steering) off the steering knuckle, new brake lines since those got cut up. Frame is straight though, missed it by *that* much. Only thing there is to loosen the body mounts and get the body/frame realigned since it shifted forward about a half an inch. But beyond that... Pretty straight forward fixing it. Nothing incredibly mangled, just a lot of stuff down-stream that got busted up The other car didn't fare so well though. Windshield is cracked - unibody is bent. Poor subie ~~~~~~~~SAY NO TO PHOTOBUCKET~~~~~~~~ Snow's DD-1 tracks here: https://www.stevemeadedesigns.com/board/topic/167433-snows-dd-1-tracks/ My take on OFC vs CCA: https://www.stevemeadedesigns.com/board/topic/110381-things-that-piss-you-off-in-the-car-audio-world/?do=findComment&comment=2461444
