hey i recently received all new AudioQue components and i need to get an amp for them first. Just to make sure i was wondering weather to go with the AQ 120.4 or the AQ 200.2.

i have to following components that i will be installing-(one pair of each)

AQ-TW1 - 4ohm (30w rms)

SDC-6x9QX - 4ohm (80w rms)

SQ-TH25 "SuperTweeter" - 5ohm (50w rms)

AQ-MR6.5 - 4ohm (100w rms)

i was wondering if i can install all the sets on a four chanel or just doing my 6x9's & 6.5"s on one four chanel and puting the tweeters off of my headunit.. if anyone could let me know how the best way to install all of the sets between my headunit power and my 2/4 chanel amp power and what crossovers i should also get for my speakers. and if the 2 or 4 chanel would work best for what im doing. just basically help on how i should install these. thanks

I would run the tweeter and mid active on a 4 ch amp crossed over around 3500 to start and play around with the tuning higher and lower till you fell you have the right point. The super tweeter i feel will just over power the highs too much to be useful with what you have going on, and no real need for rear fill unless your dead set on them being back there. You could run the 6x9's off H/U power for the fill if your wanting something in back for others.

i like to still be able to hear the voice clearly over the bass im just putting them all in b/c theyre all replacing my stock locations. im not adding to anything just upgrading from stock and adding an amp to them. im just wondering what crosovers i need, where to get crossovers if ill need any with a 4 chanel, and what certain ones to apply to what speaker/tweeter. i want to install all of the speakers properly first to see how it works out with the subs aswell. also what speakers i should put on the 4 chanel and what speakers i should put on the HU. thanks i just want to use all the speakers first properly and add/take away from there.

Im running 1 pair of aq pro mids and one pair of aq super tweets on a jl audio jx360/4 and they keep up with 2 18's walled on a bc3500. The aq super tweets are stupid loud for the price

so you want to mix and match all these different speakers, so you can hear the lyrics. you do realize how much overkill (and bleeding ears) you're trying to do?

i cant help but think that the end result will sound shitty because every speaker is different from the next one.
