Good to hear! IMO epoxy is stronger than CA glue. But in theory, you shouldn't have an issue with either. I wonder if it was an issue with prep work.

Do you know if these have ever been reconed? I don't think a lot of the manufacturers sand their stuff down before gluing as all of the recones I've done could be pulled off with a pair of pliers. But then the next time after I've prepped it, the spiders rip before I can get them off the basket.

so in theory now my sp4 is stronger, :twirl:

should I put epoxy to the other now that I'm at it????? or wait for it to come loose and risk damaging it??

I was about to say this, i would just pull it out and glue it more, cant do anything but help more.

Well that's awkward... How does a spider ring come unglued with less than 1000 watts per sub?

thats what worries me. I'm staring to wonder if they will be able to take a 3500 ea.

lol too much excursion!! na it might be a defect but i have mine wired down to .35ohm on my AQ3500 and it takes it like a BOSS!! Ive clamped it over 3k @ 29Hz
