07sOnAtA sp.ed Posted January 29, 2008 Report Posted January 29, 2008 (edited) if i was ordering a "FI BTL 12" what is the difference b/t daily use and spl use? can i get the spl option for daily use. and if i get the fully loaded 12 /w all the options, whats the rms on it? is it still 4krms, like the 18s in ur and steves trucks? also what do u think will beat harder? 2x 12 alpine type x's being pushed by 2600 watts rms in a pre-made box tuned to 38hz, or a Fi BTL 12" being pushed by 4000 watts rms in an amtt85 box? im asking b/c the 2 alpine have more surface area... but less wattage, and the single sub will be pushed alot harder. would either of these qualify as a ground pounder?
