Sub And Port... Direction

done several of these but what sub, and size? Makes alot of difference.

Some people need a sympathetic pat... on the head...with my hammer

the best 12 I did was sub foward passenger side, port up. high 40's- low 50's one 12w7

the best 12 I did was sub foward passenger side, port up. high 40's- low 50's one 12w7

my cab is pretty small, its def not as big as many other cabs

but you think tune to that high?

i was thinkin like around 35 for these types of subs. i wanna hit low and hard but still be able to hit the highs

no not tuned high140-150 dbs :lol: oh and my bad I read sonoma not tocoma

i think he means those are the numbers he hit...

i did sub passenger side firing forward, ports driver side firing on the side...got really loud, seemed louder to the driver than the passenger though. and it was with one 12"Q

i likes me some audio stuff...

ha! gotcha glad you showed up cuz i was actually gonna ask you for a sketchup after i get all the info needed! i have woodshop now so i have all access to tools and machines!! plus i get credit for it.. but part of the requirement is i need a layout. so what should i tune the box to?? like i said i wanna get loud i wanna pound the lows but still hit the highs.

and what about sub forward port up?

I have a dodge dakota. Ext cab. I tryed many ways. None really seemed alot louder except when it was downfirein . I was loud to me... My cab is small 2 but i am doing a box. I wood shop also, the SUBS UP AND PORT TO THE DASH. With the port right by the armrest. So its equial loud to Pass and driver.. It 30x20x25. And still room for 1 in back about 6 cubic feet, 1 9500s. ( will be 2)

And i am trying this box at 29-30hz And 70 squared inch of port
