Go to the bins in the nuts and bolt aisle they sell them precut in 1/4 or 1/2 or 1 inch increments. you just find the combination you need for them. If you do it that way you arent trying to make sure your cuts are the exact same on both. if you do it right you only need to bolt down the top and bottom. use the spacers to maintain your spacing on the amps.
