Need help , 16 volt transpro voltage regulator not adjusting voltage.

Recommended Posts

What's up guys , I'm running into a little problem, I hooked everything up correctly on the regulator and alternator. All of 0 gauge runs are running to my battery bank in the rear.I did not put my bank in the the rear yet, I only have one of my 16 volt batteries back there, it's a bad battery I think because the resting voltage is 15.8 v,,, all my other batteries are resting at 17.2 but like i said I haven't put them in yet. I hooked up the regulator and tried adjusting the voltage and it did nothing. I'm going to try and put my bank in and see what happens. Any thoughts would be helpful.

  2. video describing the problem with a tour of your wiring would be great

my batteries are good , thats the problem they are resting 17.2 volts then once i connected the field wire to the regulator it started draining them down to 15.8, when i take the field wire off batteries go back up to 17.2-17.4
