Just wondering who the smart guy was who decided oval speakers would sound good? 6x9, 5x7/6x8, and OMFG 4x6.

And furthernore, why do certain manufacturers continue to use them when a nice set of 6.5's will do just fine?

I know! But they have been around forever and seem to be getting stronger, my 1968 mustang has one speaker in it thats a 4x10 in the dash.. a 4x10?!?! Wtf
