mecaman86 Posted January 8, 2013 Report Posted January 8, 2013 i have a 2010 mazda3 and i want to build a sql/spl car i know i am getting Crescendo amps but i am i a toss up on what subs would be good to run or highs to look at getting also i know i need a new high output alt for my car but dont know if anybody makes one for my car and up to 5000 watts of power

notorious97200 Posted January 8, 2013 Report Posted January 8, 2013 Someday I may try a DC level 4 or XL. But I beleive the level 5 is too much of an spl sub. I may be wrong. I've neveer tried any DC product. The SSA Zcon is a great contender too, There are so much subs you could buy !!! Try to focus on the box you can use in your car, and you'll choose the sub(s) later. The box is one of the most important part of the install for the bass ! black BMW X1 2.0 l 192 hp OEM head unit, Amplifiers : Audison AP 8.9 with integrated DSP and Ampere Audio 1200. Focal ES 100 K in front doors, and Dayton RS 180 for midbass under the front seats. 2 SSA DEMONS 10" subs, in a sealed box. SecondSkin Damplifier on front doors, and Luxury Liner Pro for the cargo area.

I see so many people try to stuff 15s and 18s in the trunk and underperform its kind of sad. Sure there are some making them work but not alot.
