where to set the crossover point for tweeters?

i have a 4 channel amp and the high pass filter goes from 50hz to 200hz, my guess is that i cant use an active set up for mids and highs?

Nope. I don't know of any tweeters that would handle a 200hpf well.

It depends on what tweeters you use but most are over 2500hz. Some large format tweeters and ribbons play lower and compression drivers like the ones in my horns play down to 800hz. I use the mbquart amps for my frontstage. They have 24 db slopes.

all of sundowns mids amps can be used to run active. a cheap alternative would be the mb quart onyx line.

Can you turn the filter off? If so, you could get an inline filter for the tweeter. Crescendo makes one that pairs with their supertweets

50 htz to 200 htz does not sound in any way like a HPF to me ... more like a midbass filter to me.
