Hotdog
I used them solder pellets on a lot of my 1/0 connections. It really does work great. SnowDrifter
Hammer crimp ≠ hydraulic crimper I'd just prefer soldering over that With using a crimper: you need to use the closed ended copper terminals. The "beefy" ones. The cheap open ended brass ones don't seem to cold-weld properly with the wire - those do best with soldering IMO http://www.ebay.com/itm/Hydraulic-Crimping-Tool-Kit-8-Ton-Electric-Wire-Crimper-/230847642864 or http://www.ebay.com/itm/Hydraulic-Crimping-Tool-Kit-16-Ton-Wire-Cable-Crimper-/330554371671?pt=LH_DefaultDomain_2&hash=item4cf6936e57 ~~~~~~~~SAY NO TO PHOTOBUCKET~~~~~~~~ Snow's DD-1 tracks here: https://www.stevemeadedesigns.com/board/topic/167433-snows-dd-1-tracks/ My take on OFC vs CCA: https://www.stevemeadedesigns.com/board/topic/110381-things-that-piss-you-off-in-the-car-audio-world/?do=findComment&comment=2461444

Would silver solder work for this method? Can't say, I'm not sure what that's for. I don't solder anything so I keep a spool of Radio-Shack solder for when I need to and it serves me well enough.
