Mitchell112694 Posted January 22, 2013 Report Posted January 22, 2013 Hello you guys I am currently running 2700watts RMS with all Rockford Fosgate wiring, 2 amps (one for subs and one for door speakers/tweeters), 4 new Rockford Fosgate P3's, and all 4 doors have the Rockford fosgate T1 door speakers and 2 Rockford Fosgate Tweaters . I'm not sure what to do I am low on money right now. Should I get a second battery?... A 20 farad Capistor?... Or H/O alternator?? My only problem is that I have a 2004 ford escape and the alternator is on the bottom so I would have to take the whole front part of my car apart including the entire axel to be able to get to my alternator. Let me know of all possibilities! Thanks

I would suggest a battery, you have no need for a capacitor unless you want the led volt readout , flashy lights...Good battery > Cap

Since your cars not that old, your alternator may be able to support a second battery. For the price of a good capacitor, you could add a second battery and have a much stronger electrical than you would if you added a capacitor

For the price of a good capacitor, you could add a second battery and have a much stronger electrical than you would if you added a capacitor well i have cap now with a digital read out and when there is no bass its at 14.5V.... when the subs are on, it drops down to 11.3-11.7V

Ce Auto will have everything youd need to do the job right the first time. 8ight Posted January 25, 2013 Report Posted January 25, 2013 In a high output install I consider the order of effectiveness of electrical components to be as follows: -Alternator -Battery -Low-resistance wiring (big wire 1/0ga+ and multiple runs) -Fairy dust -Capacitor I'm gonna hate
