Any word on these? I was quoted 550 for a 170 amp version BUT, they do 150 at 500rpm which is fantastic! What do you think guys? Experience? They are solid up until 20,000rpm (not engine) and have a 10 year warrenty while Mechman alts only have a 2 year. Made right here in our shop, these units are just designed a little bit more for racing/performance use/show car use. The Billet-Tech units do have a 10 year warranty. We built the Billet-Tech line it's own website, because we found that our high performance and Street-Rod customers were getting confused by the hardcore Bass-head stuff on mechman.com . We also have www.trucktoughalternators.com for commercial and offroad trucks. Again, built here, just as good as MechMan, just a simplified site that only has stuff for Truck customers. We are all about packaging information so that it is easy for our customer to find exactly what they want.
