cmrs2k
Perhaps, but when you watch the real submission "specialists", which there are very few fighting now, you will see physically outmatched fighters win in a lot of their fights. Most fighters now have a submission skills set, but there are few that really have an exceptional skill and focus on it. Fedor Emelianenko is a perfect example (now, he is also good at a lot of other aspects of the game) of a submission master puting it to use. His fight against Hong-man Choi was similar to this fight in that Choi had him beat in size by a good amount. Submission skills outweighed the disadvantage. jsmoke222000
I was impressed with lesner but it looked like he was very nervous. He came out swinging though. If you noticed in the post fight interview, lesner was still breathing very heavy. I think he would have been gassed by the middle of the 2nd round. Mir is a great submission fighter & that got him the win tonight. I can't wait to see lesner fight a good striker. It's gonna be fun watching him get his ass kicked! Quote Jared Nixon A.K.A. Saltine
i see ppl get hit on back the head all the time and the fight goes on but the stopped it right away and no warning immediatly deducted a point. but lesner took him down right away and beat a gash in mirs face. lesner has the power like he done to take down and keep them down and beat the holy hell out them. if he can work on staying away from arm bars and leg locks hell do good. most of the fight mir was on his back anyway heres the fight and all the other fights to http://www.mmalinker.com/index.php?t=t&...0Brock%20Lesnar heres all the other videos http://www.mmalinker.com/
