So i recently re did my car ( adding 100 square feet of sound dampening ,4 channel amp and all new speakers and just a different layout)

general setup is:

hinfonics 1500x1ohm mono amp

hifonics 80x4

2 cadence s2w12's

2 sets of alpine type R components

MY ISSUE

recently i was driving home listening to my music ( not even loud) and all of a sudden my subs went off no blowing or popping sound so i figured one of my speaker wire came. well when i got home they werent out. I THEN noticed a strong smell ( i think coming from my monoblock the hifonics 1500) the mono block turns on with a green light. i replaced both fuses on the amp and still nothing, the subs are fine tested them inside with home amp. any suggestions i think i got a dead amp.. :{

If you smelt it it's probably roasted. If it is still under warranty send it in, if not, pop the back cover off and inspect the carnage. I would unhook that if you haven't already blown amps can be a major fire hazard if left connected.

I'm gonna hate
