bassfreake Posted January 25, 2013 Report Posted January 25, 2013 Anybody around here know where would be a good place that I could take my 2004 Ford Taurus to get my Big 3 done? I would do it myself but when I tried to follow the wires the setup looked a little funky and I don't wanna screw anything up and I kept losing track of the wire as I was trying to follow it around. On top of that nothing is actually running straight off of the battery but my subs as best as I can tell... my battery is running to a big fuse box under the hood and then from there it's got the wire going around routing to the rest of the engine and car inner workings. Thanks I was pretty excited about the alt myself. kind of like a school girl, in a dress, on a swing. lol It's warming up enough that the donut-punching cyclist douchenozzles are getting their two wheeled fagmobiles out. I'm good with carpentry my dad was a carpenter for like 20 years and he has taken every chance he had throughout my life to show me little bits and pieces of what he knows... taking it from mostly home building to measuring and piecing together some wood for a sub cabinet wasn't that big of a stretch. I know next to nothing about cars except how to drive them lol and over the years of playing with car audio I have picked up a few things about running wires for the trunk and hooking up subs and stuff... but that still kinda goes along with that I've been working with music and audio stuff a large part of my life too... but next time I have a weekend I will go ahead and at least give it another look and I will get some pics to post up here as well. bassfreake Posted January 25, 2013 Author Report Posted January 25, 2013 I wish I had known I could get wiring for the big 3 already all set up before I went and bought 30ft 1/0 gauge wiring kit lol (I bought one when I was first getting into car audio and didn't know how much I would need and at the time I wanted to do the big 3 myself so I bought 2 30 ft wire kits... and have one almost entire kit still just chillin in my room) Thanks I was pretty excited about the alt myself. kind of like a school girl, in a dress, on a swing. lol It's warming up enough that the donut-punching cyclist douchenozzles are getting their two wheeled fagmobiles out.
