im running 2 dd3512's in a ported box on about 2200 rms. Im planning on doing a sealed firing forward enclosure but i want to put my box near the opening of the trunk so i am going to be building an enclosure/seal around the box to guide the sound into the cabin. I want to put my amplifiers inside the enclosure that the noise i going to be fed through. understand? do you think the sound/pressure could harm any of the amps internals? thanks, kyle

EDIT: re read your post, I would not do it if that were my system, try to keep the amps away from the subs if possible

Not sure why you are putting your amp INSIDE your enclosure. Surely there is another place for it

Because he wont have anywhere else to put them.

If its super solid I don't really see it being a problem. And the way I read it they wouldn't be in the actual box by the subs, they'd be in front of them in the sealed off section he builds.

Kind of like when people seal off all the way up by the fold down seats and the amps are on the back of the folded down seat

i have a nice custom amp rack and plexiglass led fan enclosure around my amps and id like to keep them....thats a little hard to do with a 5.0 net cube box and 2 batteries all in one trunk.... tacoma guy you are correct.

IF you dont have a better place to put it, atleast make sure it has anti-vibration mounts
