DylanBunch Posted January 28, 2013 Report Posted January 28, 2013 I have a btl n2 15 and in a few months or so im gonna recone it and im curious to know if I can recone it to an 18 if I buy an 18 recone an include the basket. cloud77 Posted January 30, 2013 Report Posted January 30, 2013 universal means that the motor will work if you change the impedance. for instance say your sub is a dual 1 now and you want to change it to a dual 2. You'd be able to do this with your new recone if the motor is universal. Universal option does not cost any money at checkout on Fi's site, so just hope that the original owner selected it. But try and contact him to make sure. You can purchase a basket from Fi as well with the recone.
