Posted on skar audio section with zero interest.

Is it possible to go the direction of the Cliff Design amps??

And have the grounds together and the pos together instead of neg next to pos? Not sure why, but this bugs me..lol. Wondered why more amps don't go this way?

Guess just the design on the board? I think this would be better.. I've thought about it, just never thought it would actually get enough attention for a company to change it.

its because its two boards inside more than likely. Or power for two seperate sections. my orions are like that too. its annoying.

I'm sure boards can be designed with all negatives together and all positive together...

Just most companies didn't mention that to their Korean makers.

But why didnt they ?

because it may either not be possible or its cheaper to do so this way.

Myself, I like the idea of the negs and pos' separated. Especially when using dual inputs by toolmaker or whom ever. Just makes me feel 'better' knowing they are apart lol. I know they won't arc or anything, but the fact that it is only 1/4" (ish) away from each other. Kinda like when you 'accidentally' hit a wrench on the neg and pos of a battery at the same time?! lol. Did it many years ago and ever since then, I tape all my wrench and ratchet handles, screw drivers, etc lol

As I always say though; 'to each their own'.
