F150 big 3

Recommended Posts

I would personally spend the extra money on a CE kit over the letting the shop do it. The big is the easiest thing about car audio, if you can hook up an amp, you can do the big 3. Also, ignore the post above that mentions anything about a transmission.

There's a better chance of them fucking it up than you will. And if they do, and don't scrape of paint/rust, you will still have a shitty connection and have to fix it. Take your time, clean everything, and you'll probably have it done with better wire in less than 2 hours, easily. You'll be confident in that it was done right the first time. Just post up your mounting questions/locations here even while you're doing it and someone will be along to answer it shortly.

I also :+1: to the no tranny ground.

Dude, talk to Tony. Tell him i sent you, and see what he'll do. (Tell him Kyle said to talk to you about a big 3 kit)

If you have ANY question at all, we are here to get you through it, but, my guess is that youll laugh when your done about how easy it is. And you will feel cool knowing YOU did it. And you did it CORRECTLY, while supporting a SMD partner.

Do it bro, we are here.... and have faith in you.

I will call them later on today and see what they can do. It does seem pretty easy. I know this may seem like a dumb question but for the stock connection that runs to the cars electrical should I just snip the connector off and add a ring terminal?
