So it's official... I'm going to be starting my first wall build within a week or two. It's going to be (4) 15" Cadence S2W15's tuned to about 32hz in a Ford Taurus. I'm not new to car audio by any means, so I know wiring, deadening, tuning, etc. Just curious if anyone has any tips doing a wall. Corner's 45 degree angles, port placement, how much port, etc? Any kind of input is greatly appreciated. Just want to know what kinds of things people have come across to get it louder, and/or sound better.

Yeah I can fit it that way. That's what I planned on. I heard doing port in the middle is harder.

Its not "harder". Its just a Bitch to brace... I am doing center slot port wall but ill be using 4 1/2in threaded rods on each side along with some fiber glass

I see birch being put up alot around here. Although I'm not doing a wall, I just started a box with some nice ass Russian birch from McCoys. Wood is gorgeous(watch adam make a comment about this) and is very nice to work with.

Build the shell as big as possible then shrink if need be. The stronger the better

Birch is what I thought too. All corners will be glassed to help strengthen it as well. Does everyone just glue/glass the top piece on or how do you go about getting that one on solid? Drop it 3/4 of an inch and screw it in from the sides?
