HatersGonnaHate
Never tried the house paint myself... But, I am in the process of starting the test piece. Bare sheet metal Primer I'm using. It's the same stuff I used on all the body work we did to the BMW Primed And the other steps to the process. Prime - PlastiDip - Prime again - White gloss My name is AdamThis is my Civic Build.7" Samsung Tab 2Kenwood KDC-X896Clarion EQS746Sundown X-15DC 3.5k @2ohmHatersGonnaHate's 02 Civic UBLELD Bypass for Honda Civic/Accord/FitDon's Jeep Grand Cherokee Rebuild N8ball2013 - i think you'd stick your dick in a blender if it told you it was 40 wtih two kids your age. lol srp365 - If posting were picking up bitches, I'd be going home single tonight looks like tony montana sneezed in your car. tacomaguy1
you can get the rattle cans shipped to california, just not the liquid in the container to spray Team Flex Issues
HatersGonnaHate
Yea the full gallons they apparently have a problem with. But just the black dip can be picked up at home depot or lowes.... I believe.... Not sure if Cali has them on the EPA watch list to be sold at hardware stores or not. They also used to have the original stuff that you'd dip the handles of screwdrivers or other tools in Team Flex Issues
HatersGonnaHate
Yea I've been wanting to try the original "dip" dip, and see if I can thin it out and be able to spray with it and allow for it to stay pretty durable. HatersGonnaHate
3 coats of PlastiDip 3 coats of primer on top of the PlastiDip So far this is only 1 thick coat of the gloss white, 2nd coat is drying now My name is AdamThis is my Civic Build.7" Samsung Tab 2Kenwood KDC-X896Clarion EQS746Sundown X-15DC 3.5k @2ohmHatersGonnaHate's 02 Civic UBLELD Bypass for Honda Civic/Accord/FitDon's Jeep Grand Cherokee Rebuild N8ball2013 - i think you'd stick your dick in a blender if it told you it was 40 wtih two kids your age. lol srp365 - If posting were picking up bitches, I'd be going home single tonight looks like tony montana sneezed in your car. HatersGonnaHate
After 2 good coats of gloss white But........... Little pinholes in the paint, from the primer not completely covering that gap/edge. Gloss hit the bits of PlastiDip and formed pinholes. So in my conclusion, if the proper prep work is done and there are enough base coats of PlastiDip on the project to be painted, and enough coats of primer on top of that, then you can very well have a successful outcome. I'm going to let the test piece cure over night inside where the temp is warmer, then I'm going to finish peeling it off tomorrow. Started a corner of it right now though. Gloss and the PlastiDip just peel right off.
