Omega5002 Posted February 4, 2013 Report Posted February 4, 2013 The 0db track is a loudest track than the others so it makes you set your gains the lowest out of the other tracks. -15db is the quietest track, meaning it'll make you set your gains higher. 2003 Kia Sorento Team Subsonic LowsTeam Bassin' on a Budget2016 Rebuild Under Construction Best score: 150.2 at 40hz (3k, 2 Custom HDC3 15's) Usaci style(door open, in the kick)

Jessica Posted February 4, 2013 Report Posted February 4, 2013 Simple, If you set gains with a "louder" track your system will not be as loud as if you set your gains with a "quieter" track. Like -10db is quiter than 0db. so your signal is lower an requires more amplification when setting gains edir: slight clarification. LoudNLow931 Posted February 4, 2013 Report Posted February 4, 2013 In the DD1 instructions it says track 7(-15db) will result in a louder system and track3(-5db) will result in more sound quality. 2008 Dodge Ram 2500 6.7l Cummins 4 FT1s C1600.2 8 PWX 8s ONX2.100 Audio Technix Wiring & Sound Deadener My Youtube Feedback
08tahoe Posted February 4, 2013 Report Posted February 4, 2013 0 db track is the loudest meaning when you set your gains they'll be lower (like omega said), and -15db is the quietest so when you set your gains they'll be set higher. So when you play music if you set with 0db it will be the quietest and -15db will be the loudest.
